Asian women are significantly underrepresented in leadership positions and face challenging stereotypes in their career journeys.
In a 2020 study by the Alliance for Board Diversity and Deloitte Consulting, among Fortune 100 companies, Asian women represented approximately 1.5% of all board-level seats. This is only 19 Asian women out of 1,240 available seats.
We aim to advance Asian women into leadership by shining the light on the “1.5%” of women who have achieved levels of success.
We bring a unique approach to leadership development by incorporating research on successful Asian women leaders, providing tools to enhance self-awareness, and cultivating a community of like-minded women.
“Radiance Empower Hours have provided me a dedicated space where I can feel a true sense of belonging. To know that I have a safe space to be my whole and true self and share my personal experiences is truly that, “empowering.” Being a part of this group has ignited many other connections that have kept me on the path to living the commitments that I’ve made to myself.”
“I’ve participated in Radiance Empower Hours for about a year now and when I first joined, the Radiance Team immediately welcomed me with open arms. Right away, I felt a sense of belonging in a judgment-free zone. All the attendees were also great and shared genuinely. The sessions with special speakers included real-life issues or taboo topics that many of us face, but rarely talked about. Empower Hours provided a safe and confidential space. These meetings have been interactive, engaging, and fun. Looking forward to more future Empower Hours!”
“I loved the session. It was very comforting connecting with other women who shared similar experiences. I also enjoyed the thought-provoking questions that allowed me to realize why I’ve had imposter syndrome in the past/present. Definitely came out of that hour feeling more optimistic about being able to navigate those insecurities in the future!”
