Who we are

We created Radiance in 2019 because we were inspired to change the narrative about Asian women in leadership. As Asian women, we face unique challenges.

Often, Asian women are viewed as lacking adequate “leadership presence.” This perception can result from actions and behaviors that stem from our cultural upbringing and expectations from family or society. As a result, our leadership potential diminishes, and we become labeled as “worker bees” and not “leaders.”

While we continue to support Asian women, we recognize that similar challenges exist across the AAPI community and with many underrepresented minorities. Our work has resonated with diverse communities over the years.

Radiance aims to provide space, resources, and tools for more Asian women and underrepresented minorities to break these barriers and emerge as the leaders they are meant to be.
